For users in the United Kingdom, we also apply the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

3. What the app does

Value Add Calculator helps procurement professionals calculate and record savings and value add, alongside standard, scientific and currency calculators.

  • The free version is on Android. It includes 3 procurement calculations a day. You can choose to watch a short ad to get 1 extra calculation.

  • Pro is a subscription (€7.99 a month or €59.99 a year) with unlimited calculations and no ads. One subscription covers Android, Windows and the web. Windows and the web are available only with Pro.

  • Your calculations stay on your device. We never receive the figures you enter or your savings register (see section 6).

  • Results are estimates for your own analysis. The app is intended for business users.

  •

We do not send marketing from the app. If we ever want to, we will ask for your consent first, and you can withdraw it at any time.

6. Your calculations stay on your device

The savings you calculate and save, your savings register, your settings (such as language, currency, finance rates and organisation name), calculator memory and history, and exchange rates are stored only on your device:

  • Android: in the app's private storage.

  • Windows: in your user profile, or in the app's own storage if installed from the Microsoft Store.

  • Web: in your browser's local storage for the app's website, on that device only.

We do not receive, see or back up this information. It leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it: CSV and PDF exports go wherever you send them. To delete it, use Settings → Delete all saved savings, or uninstall the app. For the web app, clearing your browser's site data also deletes it.

  • When the currency converter uses an online rate, the app downloads public exchange rates from Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev). The request contains only the currency code you are converting from.

  • When you look up a published index, the app downloads that series from Eurostat or the Central Statistics Office, Ireland. The request names only the series.

  • These services receive your IP address and standard connection details, as with any internet connection. Nothing you entered is sent.

  • We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. We do not use artificial-intelligence (AI) services on your data.
